Families And The Court System

Did you know that 98% of all litigated divorce cases settle PRIOR to trial?  Now, what phase of the journey to litigation do those cases settle?  It varies from family to family.  Some parents quickly see the damaging effects that litigation can have on their families and come to agreements quickly.  Others end up going through depositions before they make up their mind to settle.  Some get the firsts bill from their attorney and decide they cannot afford to litigate.  Some settle on the day of trial minutes before their case is heard by a judge.

Listen in on Brenda Lee Roberts, M. Ed., LPC talking about Families and the Court System.
