Philosophy

What if there was one simple thing you could do to make a positive change for humanity?  One change that not only benefits you, but your children…and their children…and their children….  One that heals hearts and creates a new beginning. One that offers you the opportunity to become a better human being.

The answer to this question is why I am in the career that I am today.

I have witnessed the healing effects of being able to adopt a child after years of trying unsuccessfully to conceive.  I know that co-parents who consistently bring their children’s best interests into focus instead of their conflict contribute to their children’s futures in immeasurable ways. As a child of divorce, I know that conflict and litigation takes prisoners, and healing from those wounds can take years.  Because of the overwhelming damage that traditional litigation has the potential to do to families, Collaborative Law has become my passion. Parent Coordination has become my passion because it offers parents the opportunity to learn to have a healthy co-parenting relationship that has the potential to eliminate the need for litigation and is a healthier way of resolving disputes.

It is my commitment to offer clients the setting that will allow them to minimize damage, protect and enhance their children’s lives and to create outcomes that are specific to the needs of their family.  It is my commitment to offer the best services possible to those who request my services.

I do this by continuing to get the best training possible by participating in workshops throughout the country taught by internationally recognized experts.  In addition, I am a member of several formal and informal organizations and practice groups.
